- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I don't even want to give it a one star! I told my husband not to go there, but he insisted because we are newly married. The whole time we were there with Linda she spoke negatively of Trump and his administration, wouldn't stop talking, and was very slow. Then towards the end she said instead of $300 and something tax prep fees, its over $400. Of course I asked why and she said because she "showed us something which they charge for" and she "didn't mean to screw us" soooooo I'm confused. We can't figure out what she could have possibly showed us that would cost extra. We filed W2's and a 1099. I do that every year by myself through TurboTax and pay around $50. She did nothing to warrant over $400 for tax prep fees. They don't even offer audit assistance if by chance you do get audited unless you choose to pay $40 more! H&R Block are such scam artists. Places like this need to be shut down. I asked her to use a $25 coupon for first time customer since I was a first time customer, but since my husband wasn't she said no. It's terrible business all around. Spare yourself the wasted time and wasted money and file your taxes elsewhere.By Lauren Anne, September 06, 2017
